As of 29 May 2026, the actual number of full-time research staff of the Institute of Renewable Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was 46 persons.
The meeting of the research staff of the Institute was held on 29 May 2026 in accordance with Clause 3.12.3 of the Statute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and conducted the election of the Director of the Institute. Prior to the commencement of the meeting, 37 research staff members were registered.
For the purpose of conducting the secret ballot, 46 ballot papers were prepared, and 37 ballot papers were distributed. Upon opening the ballot box, 37 ballot papers were found.
For the election of the Director of the Institute of Renewable Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, in accordance with Clause 3.12.4 of the Statute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the candidate for the position of Director must receive:
— not less than two-thirds of the votes of the electorate, i.e. 31 votes,
or
— more than 50 percent of the votes, where the candidate receives less than two-thirds of the votes of the research staff members present at the meeting, i.e. 21 votes.
The outcomes of the secret ballot for the election of the Director of the Institute of Renewable
Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are as follows:

In accordance with the results of the secret ballot and Clause 3.12.4 of the Statute of the National
Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the following person is deemed elected as Director of the Institute of Renewable Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine:
— Doctor of Technical Sciences Oleksii Zurian, who received not less than two-thirds of the votes of the electorate, namely 36 votes;
The Minutes have been drawn up by the Election Commission composed of the Chairman Petro Vasko and 4 Members (Hennadii Chetveryk, Dmytro Bondarenko, Yurii Morozov, Valerii Novytskyi).
The ballot papers and the list of research staff members to whom ballot papers were issued are attached to the Minutes.
